I firmly
believe if you know what to expect you can be better prepared. With this in
mind I have prepared a Hurricane Preparations e-Book for you. While I follow the advice and suggestions contained in this prep
guide, I still listen to the advisories and warnings transmitted from the
National Hurricane Center. I also follow the recommendations of the Miami-Dade Office of Emergency
Operations. I strongly urge you do the same and be sure to follow the advice
of your local Office of Emergency Operations.
Because of
my work and my sailing interests, I got into the habit of tracking storms. If
I have an idea of where the storm is going, I can have the management properties prepared long before the storm advisory is given. I
started sharing my
tracking projections with my friends and fellow professionals. Over time
they came to rely on my "phone advisories”. With the advent of the
Internet, I have switched from phone calls to E-mail broadcasts.
If you
would like to be part of “Bob’s Hurricane Bunch” just fill out the short
form at the end of my Preparations e-Book. You’ll be able to opt-out from
receiving my "advisories" anytime you want. And I promise, I won't send
you anything other than my "Bob's Hurricane Bunch Advisories".
