Bob
Bob Valledor has lived in Miami
almost his entire life. He arrived when he was only 2 years old. He is a second generation Realtor.
His business philosophy remains the same one his father first taught him,
“Put the interests of your client first and everything else follows.”
Keeping this philosophy has allowed Bob to earn his reputation for
providing his clients with high levels of professional service and
attention to detail.
Bob specializes in the brokerage, management and
leasing of commercial and investment properties, including office buildings, retail centers, apartment buildings, industrial manufacturing and warehouse properties. He holds the prestigious designation CPM, Certified Property Manager, from the Institute of Real Estate Management and the CIPS, Certified International Property Specialist from the National Association of Realtors.
Bob is the Head Volunteer Sailing Instructor for
Shake-A-Leg Miami, a program that helps the physically challenged, at-risk
children and able bodied persons gain self confidence and improve their self
esteem by learning to sail a sailboat. He wrote the curriculum that is used
to teach at Shake-A-Leg Miami and he was twice recognized as "Volunteer Of The
Year" by this organization. Bob
holds two Keel Boat Instructor certifications with the US Sailing Association.
In addition to presently servicing on the city of
Miami's Neighborhood Stabilization Program Task Force, Bob's civic
involvement includes 3 years on the city of Miami’s Affirmative Action Advisory Board and
17 years on the city’s Nuisance Abatement Board, which he has chaired for 16 years. The NAB is charged with ridding the city of properties with documented histories of drug sales, prostitution, gambling and gang related activities. He is also a 4 time President of his home owners association.
In 1997 Bob was recognized by the city as a “Miami Hero”.
In addition to his community service, Bob is very
active in the professional associations of Realtors. He has served on every
committee and chaired most for the Realtor Association of Greater Miami and
the Beaches. He was its President in 1985-1986, their
1984 "Realtor of the Year", 1995 "Chairman of the Year".
He also is the 1996
recipient of their "Civic Achievement Award" and received their
"Distinguished Service Award" in 1999.
Bob is also the 2003 "Realtor Of The Year" for the Realtors
Commercial Alliance of the Realtors Association of Greater Miami and the
Beaches. Bob is one of only 8 Past-Presidents in the 97-year history of the Realtors Association of Greater Miami and the Beaches to be awarded the highly coveted
"Past President’s Award" in recognition of his continuing service to this association.
Bob is a director of the Florida Association of Realtors and has chaired
14 of its committees and served on over 52 others. He has held the elected positions of District Vice President representing all of Miami-Dade and Monroe counties and Treasurer of FAR. He
was elected to three 3-year terms to the Board of Directors of the National Association of Realtors and has served on
24 of its committees.
In addition to his highly regarded professional reputation and extensive volunteer services Bob is known for his sense of humor. His favorite “motto”, which he has hanging in his office is “No
property too small ... No fee too large.” In his spare time he enjoys sailing his sailboat
“The Branch Office” and
teaching sailing at Shake-A-Leg, Miami.
